The Spyder Series Optional mounting plate covers can be used for a more attractive look (use a set of four for 4 legs). Umbrella and Umbrella Stand can also be used (Umbrellas and stands sold separately).
Powder coating in the framework:
The Spyder Coated Metal goes through a six-step process to ensure the highest quality and longevity. First, all metal is cleaned to white metal with a state-of-the-art shot-blast system. The parts then go trough a five-stage chemical pretreatment system, are coated with a zinc-rich primer, and then a topcoat of a super-durable polyester powder is applied before the final cure. The manufacturer's powder-coat system exceeds the American Architectural Manufacturers Association test specifications. The coating stood up to some of the thoughest test specifications, including adhesion, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance and fade resistance, to ensure that the product is one that will last loger than anyone else's.
